Arthritis SA
Arthritis SA provides information and advice on Arthritis, Osteoporosis, Lupus, Gout, Fibromyalgia, Scleroderma and many other musculo-skeletal conditions affecting over 400,000 South Australians. These conditions cost SA over $1 billion annually in hospital and medical fees and time lost from work.
Arthritis affects people of all ages. It is the second most common chronic condition in children, affecting babies as young as 6 months and effectively robbing them of a normal childhood.
Arthritis SA assists the community with a telephone advisory service, support groups, seminars for the community and health professionals, exercise classes and the Moving Towards Wellness programs.
