CARA
As one of the State’s leading providers of accommodation and respite services, CARA is committed to helping people with severe and multiple disabilities, and their families, live full and rewarding lives. CARA supports over 500 children and adults, throughout metropolitan and regional South Australia.
Its services are designed to suit the individual needs and abilities of people with a disability with strong emphasis on inclusion; assisting people to identify and develop their interests, and to participate and contribute to the wider community.
Services include supported accommodation in community houses, child and adult respite houses, mobile respite services, holiday camps for children, in-home attendant care services, a host family respite program and independent living skills training. Cara has the ability to support individuals with disabilities for the entirety of their lives.
