Foundation Daw Park
Foundation Daw Park was established by veterans in the 1990’s to support the funding of medical research and patient care facilities at Repatriation General Hospital; a 300 bed acute care, training hospital located at Daw Park, South Australia.
The Foundation has two strategic areas of focus; veteran health (past and current) and health and well being of the older community of South Australia.
Through its 2009 Grants Program the Foundation funded projects in the following areas:
• Alzheimer’s Disease
• Rehabilitation
• Diabetes
• Respiratory
• Mental Health
• Rheumatoid Arthritis
• Multiple Sclerosis
• Sleep Disorders
• Orthopaedics
• Stroke
• Parkinson’s Disease
• Swallowing Disorders
