For the fifth time, the Channel 9 Telethon Distinctive Lottery Home has been built on land donated by Westwood.
This year the home is located at The Avenue, Westwood (formerly Cambridge Street Athol Park) in the latest stage of the exciting project which involves the regeneration of the Adelaide area known as “The Parks”.
Located approximately seven kilometres northwest of the Central Business District, Westwood is only a twenty minute drive from the city, ten minutes from the beach and in close proximity to AAMI Stadium, Hindmarsh Stadium, Centro Arndale Shopping Centre, Regency Park Public Golf Course, Regency TAFE, The Parks Community Centre, primary and secondary schools and childcare facilities.
When one considers that the development also has six hectares of public open space, themed reserves and parks and a variety of sporting and recreational facilities, Westwood is a very desirable location in which to live.
Although not quite there yet, because all blocks in the release have been sold, the area in which the home is located will soon be filled with beautiful new homes and residents forming a new neighbourhood community.
The Channel 9 Telethon Distinctive Lottery home is open for inspection 1 - 5 daily from 2 August - 7 December.
