MARY POTTER FOUNDATION

The Mary Potter Foundation was established in 1987 to financially support the Mary Potter Hospice, and to ensure that is able to provide the high level of professional care for which it has become known.

The Mary Potter Hospice provides for the physical, emotional, spiritual and social needs of the terminally ill, and their families. Patients are admitted when intensive nursing support, symptom relief or pain control is needed, or for respite care, to give home carers a rest. Sadly the services of the hospice are needed more and more frequently these days.

The Hospice is situated at Calvary Hospital, Adelaide, and is owned and conducted by the Little Company of Mary. It is a non-denominational, non-government facility, which is not church funded. It is therefore very dependent on the generosity of the community.
