Ronald McDonald House Charities South Australia

Ronald McDonald House Charities South Australia is an independent, not-for-profit organisation dedicated to providing vital programs for families with seriously ill children.

Ronald McDonald House Charities first arrived in South Australian in 1991, following a major refurbishment of the Women’s and Children’s Hospital in Adelaide. To assist families needing accommodation close to where their child was being treated in hospital and in 2000, we established Adelaide’s very first Ronald McDonald House. Since then, we have expanded our accommodation facilities to give over 200 families a warm, safe and secure place to stay every year.

Through our accommodation and support services, we strive to keep families together when life gets turned upside down due to a child’s illness.

Our Ronald McDonald House is run by a tirelessly hard working team of staff and volunteers, aided by the generous support of our donors, sponsors and corporate partners.
