I have not received my ticket or I need to make a change to my ticket. Who can I contact?
Please contact the Telethon Office on (08) 8423 0969 or contact us.
If you purchased your ticket directly from one of the participating Charities please contact them directly, their contact details are listed on the supported Charities page on this website. Tickets purchased online can sometimes end up in your junk/spam or clutter folders, depending on your ISP and or email settings.
How many tickets are available in the lottery?
There are 200,000 tickets PLUS 40,000 bonus tickets for purchasers of five continuous tickets in one transaction. Maximum of 240,000 tickets.
Can I purchase a ticket if I live interstate or overseas?
The lottery is licensed in South Australia, however we will accept orders from out of state residents.
Which Charities are participating in the Lottery?
Proceeds from the Lottery supports the following South Australian Charities:
Arthritis SA, Bedford, CanTeen, Carers SA, Childhood Cancer Association, Grow SA, HeartKids Limited (SA), Holiday Explorers Inc, JDRF Australia (SA), Laurel Palliative Care Foundation,
Legacy Club of Adelaide, The Mary Potter Foundation, Puddle Jumpers Inc, Southern Cross Care, Special Olympics SA and TelethonSA.
I don’t wish to order my tickets online? What are my options?
Paper tickets can be ordered by calling the Telethon Office on (08) 8423 0969. We can process your tickets over the phone or send you an order form to post into us. You can also purchase paper tickets directly from any of the 15 participating Charities, TelethonSA office or from any Wallis Cinema.

How much money is raised and how are the proceeds distributed?
Assuming all tickets are sold (including bonus tickets) the projected net profit (after expenses) of the Telethon Home and Land Lottery is over $1.7 million or (85%) of net proceeds will support the work of the 16 participating South Australian Charities.
When does the Lottery close?
Sales in the Lottery close at midnight (CDST) on Sunday 16 December. To be eligible to win the Early Bird prize tickets must be purchased no later than midnight (CDST) Friday 26 October.
When and where will the Lottery be drawn?
The Lottery for ALL prizes (including the Early Bird prize) will be drawn at 2pm on Thursday 20 December at ‘The Pavilion’, Rivergum Homes, 387-391 South Road, Mile End South, SA 5031.
Can a ticket purchaser win multiple prizes?
If you purchased your tickets prior to the closing of the Early Bird prize your ticket is entered in ALL draws! Tickets purchased after 26 October are entered into all draws for 1st, 2nd & 3rd prizes. A separate draw is made for the Book Buyers prize.
Where when are the winning results published?
Prizewinners will be published on our website and in the Public Notices section of the classified advertisements in The Advertiser on Saturday 22 December. Winners will contacted by both telephone and in writing no later than 4 days following the draw with details on how to collect their prize.
What prizes are on offer in the Lottery?
All prize descriptions and the terms and conditions can be found on our website.
Can I visit the home?
Yes, however, the home, located at Lot 427 Whitely Street, Munno Para (Playford Alive) will be under construction from late September, it is scheduled for completion and hand over in early December.
Is there a display home of the prize available for viewing that I can visit?
No, the prize home is a customised build, however, we have a virtual tour of the home on our website that you can view.
If I win the major prize do I have to take possession of the home?
NO. You can opt to take $200,000 CASH
If I take the home how soon can I take possession?
The winner can move in as soon as settlement is complete which generally takes about four weeks. The winner does not have to keep the home for a minimum period of time and can choose to sell the home at any point after settlement.
What if the value of the Major Prize (Rivergum Home and Land) fluctuates prior to handover?
Approximate retail value of the Rivergum Home and Land Package (including furnishings) is as of the date of print. Due to housing market fluctuations, the market value of the prize may rise or diminish over time. The winner or licensee is not entitled to the difference, if any, between the stated and actual market value at the time the prize is awarded.
